Healthwatch in Greater Manchester has gathered insight directly from the people who use these services - listening to what worked well, what could be improved, and what matters most when accessing care during urgent health situations. This report brings together lived experience from across the ten Greater Manchester boroughs. It is based on engagement with patients, carers, and members of the public between 2024-2025 and aims to reflect the voices behind the statistics, the real experiences of navigating care in times of stress, pain, and uncertainty. By highlighting common themes and concerns, as well as examples of good practice, this report aims to support local Integrated Care System leaders, commissioners, and providers to design more responsive, accessible, and person - centred urgent and emergency care services across the region.

The Healthwatch GP Access Survey looks closely at how local residents feel about their GP services across Cheshire and Merseyside. All 9 local Healthwatch across Cheshire and Merseyside gathered feedback between October 2024 and March 2025 from 6,944 people from diverse communities. The survey responses revealed both successes and challenges in how GP services are provided. While key themes and challenges remained consistent across the region, the feedback highlighted notable variation between individual GP practices. Some surgeries received largely positive responses, while others faced more critical feedback, suggesting differing experiences depending on the specific practice.

From December 2024 to March 2025, in collaboration with Sunderland City Council, we developed and launched a survey to gather insights into people's awareness of available adult social care services and how they seek the relevant information, advice, and guidance so that they can make informed choices and access the right support. This area of work is a priority for Healthwatch Sunderland for the 2024-2025 period. This report summarises the responses of the 154 individuals who completed the survey during this time.
